• We have 23 tenure track faculty, 14 research faculty, 75 undergraduates, and 50 graduate students.
• Our major research areas include space science, condensed matter physics, nuclear physics, medical imaging, and string theory.
• Faculty brought in over $12M of grant funding during the 2006 fiscal year. This funding came primarily from NASA, NSF, DOE and NIH.
• Both undergraduate and graduate students and faculty have close interactions in classes (upper division classes are 20 students or less) and in research.
