Expertise:
Atomic Clusters, Fullerenes & Metallofullerenes, Cluster-Surface Collisions, Mass Spectrometry, Pulsed Laser Deposition of Thin Films
Professional Interests:
Implantation of metal ions into fullerene films and gas-phase fullerenes; analysis of the energetics and kinetics of these caged systems. Competing decay channels (dissociation, thermionic emission) for highly excited fullerenes; pump-probe experiments to determine the lifetime of excited electronic states. Properties of atomic clusters deduced from the kinetic energy release in their unimolecular dissociation. Determination of mass, charge state and kinetic energy of particles in the plasma formed above solid targets by pulsed laser ablation. Pulsed laser deposition of thin films.
